Conference Dinner & Excursions
Oral presentations
All oral presentations during the conference will follow the 12+3 format, i.e. presenters will have 12 minutes to present their slides, and 3 minutes are allocated for questions and discussion. Please, prepare your presentation accordingly. Each session will have 1-2 session chairs to ensure a smooth progression of events.
It is very important that all presentations are prepared in the PowerPoint format, i.e. .ppt or .pptx extensions. PDF slides will not work.
You will be able to upload your slides in the Speaker's Corner during the conference. Speaker's Corner will be open during the following times:
- Monday May 13th, 16:45-20:00
- Tuesday May 14th, 08:00-17:30
- Wednesday May 15th, 08:15-17:30
- Thursday May 16th, 08:15-10:30
All oral presentations must be uploaded at the Speaker's Corner latest 1 hour before the start of your session. Bring it on a USB stick and have your abstract submission # at hand. More guidelines here.
Poster presentations
All posters must be prepared in the A0 format and in portrait orientation. Two poster sessions will take place during the conference:
- Tuesday, May 14th, 17:00-19:30 (with an apero) poster map
- Wednesday, May 15th, 12:00-14:30 (with lunch) poster map
Tuesday's poster session will include posters from Themes 2 and 4. Wednesday's poster session will include posters from Themes 1, 3 and 5. Find your name in the poster map files linked above. The board number for your poster is highlighted in blue. You can find the location of your board number on the first page.
If your poster is on Tuesday, you can bring it and install is already on Monday during the Icebreaker. You must take down your poster immediately after your poster session, latest by 19:30.
If your poster is on Wednesday, you can install your poster immediately after the end of the Tuesday poster session, i.e. starting on Tuesday at 19:30. Wednesday posters must be taken down immediately after the Wednesday poster session, latest by 15:00.
There will be a small storage room for the poster tubes if needed. Remember to mark them so you can identify them.
