Conference Dinner & Excursions
Welcome!
The four-day science conference brought together members of different atmospheric science communities to discuss the latest scientific breakthroughs e.g., in air quality and climate research.
The contributions were solicited on the topics covering all aspects of ACTRIS scientific activities.

Important information
Opening hours
On Monday the conference venue will open at 16:45. Registration Desk and the Speaker’s Corner will open at the same time. Icebreaker and Welcome Reception will start at 17:30. The venue will close shortly after 20:00.
On Tuesday the conference venue will open at 08:00. On Wednesday and Thursday the conference venue will open at 08:15.
Registration and Information Desk will be open as follows:
- Monday May 13th: 16:45-20:00
- Tuesday May 14th: 08:00-19:45
- Wednesday May 15th: 08:30-18:00
- Thursday May 16th: 08:30-13:30
Security
Access to the building will be regulated by the security staff, and your personal belongings will be examined upon entrance. It is very important that you do not bring your luggage to the venue as it will have to be thoroughly checked by the security personnel and greatly delay your entrance to the building. We strongly encourage you to leave your luggage at the hotel or at the Rennes train station.
You will receive a badge with your name upon registration. The badge will also include information about extra services you have purchased (dinner and excursions). You must wear the badge at all times when at the conference venue. In case you lose or forget your badge, please, contact the Information Desk.
Photography
Professional photographer will be on site to document our event. If you would like to not be in the pictures or if you would like the pictures with you to not be used in the future for ACTRIS communication and promotion activities, please let us know in writing.
Conference Dinner and Excursions
There is no particular dress code for the conference dinner, but we encourage the attendees to wear something blue. Your conference badge shows your dinner ticket. You must bring it with you! Carbon Footprint
As part of our sustainability activities, we aim to measure the environmental impact of the conference. We, therefore, strongly encourage you to fill out a very short form (~2 minutes) with the details of you trip. The survey can be found here.
