We are pleased to announce a training on RPG cloud radar operation and maintenance, hosted by CCRES-NL in TU Delft (The Netherlands) from June 17 to 19.

The program will be composed of lectures and hands-on, covering the following topics : 

• June 17:
  • FMCW radar principle (lecture)
  • Chirp tables for different climatology (hands-on)
  • DCR MDF, MBF and triggering (hands-on)
  • DCR radome change (hands-on)
• June 18 :
  • Comparison between pluvio and disdrometer (lecture)
  • DCR calibration (clear sky and LN2) (lecture and hands-on)
• June 19:
  • Horizontal wind profiling (cloud radar) (lecture and hands-on)
