ATMO-SERV Kick-off Meeting

ATMO-SERV Kick-off Meeting

The ATMO-SERV project officially started last week with the project Kick-off Meeting in Katowice, Poland, on 19–20 October 2026, bringing together the ATMO-SERV consortium.

Over two days, the meeting provided an opportunity for the partners to come together, align on the project’s ambitions and activities, and discuss the future next steps. It marked an important starting point for the consortium and for the work that will take place throughout the project.

ATMO-SERV brings together all European atmospheric Research Infrastructures, such as ACTRIS, IAGOS, ICOS, EISCAT_3D and SIOS, complemented by the ARISE and ASCENT networks, the health-focused EIRENE RI, and international access providers in South Africa, India, Lebanon, Brazil and the USA. This reflects the collaborative approach being at the heart of the project.

With the Kick-off Meeting successfully concluded, the consortium now moves into the implementation of the project’s activities. In the coming months and years, ATMO-SERV will share updates on its progress, developments and opportunities for the wider research community.
