ATMO-ACCESS Sensors and Drones Hybrid Schools successfully concluded

From November 11 to 15, 2024, two hybrid Training Schools were held simultaneously in the frame of ATMO-ACCESS innovative training and educational initiatives. The first, hosted by EMPA in Switzerland, concentrated on the operation and scientific use of sensor systems for ground-based applications in urban and remote settings. The second, organized by the Cyprus Institute in Cyprus with the support of the H2020 Teaming Project EMME-CARE, and the Horizon Europe project Edu4Climate, focused on the deployment of drones for atmospheric research.

More than 20 participants from 17 different countries including Lebanon,India, Pakistan, Turkey, Nigeria and Brazil attended the trainings. Some students were supported by ATMO-ACCESS TNA programme.
