Explore the atmosphere with the new ACTRIS data portal!

4th September 2024: Today, ACTRIS proudly releases its all-new data portal (b-version).

Access the portal at https://data.actris.eu, and dive into the world of atmospheric data!

Welcome to 200.000+ data files

The portal lets you explore FAIR data on approximately 150 atmospheric variables, with some records dating back decades, from around 600 facilities worldwide.

The portal is continuously updated with data. Currently, it provides access to over 200,000 data files, and there is still more to come! The portal also provides access to a growing number of tools and services associated with the data.

In the upcoming months, you can take part in useful demonstrations and events designed to help you navigate and utilize the portal. Your feedback is crucial as we prepare to launch the stable version in December, followed by online demonstrations.

Great collaborative effort

Launching the data portal is a large step forward for ACTRIS ERIC, providing significantly improved cross-border access to aerosol, cloud, and trace gases observational data. The portal represents a useful tool for understanding the atmosphere, monitoring air quality, and mitigating climate change.

This achievement is made possible by the collaborative and consistent efforts of over 30 dedicated scientists and system developers from eight leading research organizations (NILU, CNR, CNRS, FMI, BSC, IPSL, ULille, UPEC, UT3)  in Norway, France, Italy, Finland, and Spain.
