Open Call for ACTRIS intercomparison campaign of chemical ionization mass spectrometry

The Call for ACTRIS intercomparison campaign of chemical ionization mass spectrometry to measure ambient condensable vapours in summer 2024 is now open.
ACTRIS CiGas-UHEL invites CIMS-users to field an intercomparison campaign at SMEAR II station (in Hyytiälä, Finland) in the summer of 2024. The two-week campaign is scheduled for 29.7.-11.8.2024. The summertime campaign offers a possibility to compare the detection of a wide amount of inorganic and organic vapours.
This workshop is aimed at the ACTRIS community using chemical ionization mass spectrometry to measure condensable vapours / direct aerosol precursors. The workshop is an activity of the ACTRIS Centre for Reactive Trace Gases In Situ Measurements. The intercomparison workshop can be considered as a part of the future QA/QC measures for ACTRIS National Facilities.
Cost: Participants have to cover their instrument's transport and travel + accommodation costs for their instrument operators.
Contact CiGas-UHEL if you are interested to join the intercomparison campaign:
