Green City Solutions GmbH has developed movable moss walls, so-called “CityTrees” with the aim of improving air quality.
The airflow passes through the CityTrees, passing through the moss, which acts as a filter. In addition to humidifying and cooling the air, moss separates fine and ultrafine dust particles. A measurement campaign lasting several days was organized in Germany to determine the efficiency of the filter and then test it within the CAIS-ECAC facility managed by TROPOS
