Atmospheric simulation chambers are an integral part of exploratory platforms within ACTRIS. They allow for the systematic investigation of atmospheric processes under well-controlled conditions answering important questions in air quality and climate research.
Within the EU-funded project EUROCHAMP-2020, standard operational procedures for performing chamber experiments were developed. These are summarized in the book written by the chamber community as part of the EUROCHAMP-2020 project.
The book provides information about the best practice operation of chambers, summarizes the latest advances in chambers, and gives guidance to the research community. The book will be of great interest to experienced researchers and graduates as well as to new users working with chambers.
The book is available with open access.
