On November 18 and 19, the Obs4clim Integrated Atmospheric Observing System project held its annual meeting in Clermont-Ferrand. The hybrid event welcomed 31 in-person participants and dozens more online. Discussions centered on progress in integrating atmospheric research infrastructures and fostering synergies through innovation, shared use of equipment, and harmonized access policies.
Obs4clim represents a collaborative effort among the three French components of European atmospheric research infrastructures: ACTRIS, ICOS, and IAGOS. Now in its fourth year, the project has made significant strides, with much of its equipment operational and the final purchases planned for 2025.
These two meetings underscore the strong collaboration of the French atmospheric research community and its commitment to advancing infrastructure and innovation in the field.
